Dr Muir has co-authored a number of papers on exposure to nano-particles in workplaces.

Technical Director: Dr Boris Gorbunov

Dr Boris Gorbunov has more than 25 years experience as a leading scientist in condensation technology, nanoparticle-separation, characterisation, - generation and -instrument development. He is an internationally renowned expert in nucleation/condensation technology with more than 150 technical R&D publications and patents.

He has substantial managerial experience working as a team leader on various R&D projects in the nanoparticle characterisation field. Dr Gorbunov has been involved as a leader (of a project or a work-package leader) in many national and international projects including recent DTI (2000 and 2004), European Commission (Evaluation of the Biosafety of Lead Substitutes in the Manufacture of Unleaded Crystal Glass -1997; Siliceram- 2004), The Royal Society UK (1996), Nerc (1998), EC Nanodevice project 2009, EC Nanosafe project 2009, DEFRA and TSB Prospect projects 2008 and Nesta (1999) initiatives.

Dr Gorbunov has also been involved in a number of projects related to condensation/nucleation technology. In particular, recent DTI (2000 and 2004) projects where a unique extremely sensitive condensation technology has been developed to detect single organic molecules of the size less than 1 nm in the air.

Director of Business Development: Jerry Gromala

Mr. Gromala has over 25 years experience in the field of lasers and electro-optics.  He is responsible for acquisitions and technology development targeting the semiconductor and pharmaceutical industries.  He holds an MBA from the University of Colorado.
