Organic Particle Generator MG100

The Naneum Aero Particle Generator Series instruments are excellent general purpose laboratory tools that provide a turnkey solution for experimental setups that require a controlled and stable particle source.

Two models are offered and each provides a variable concentration particle output that is easily adjusted with a single front panel control. They are self-contained and compact, allowing them to be easily integrated into a test set-up since only power is needed to begin operation. The MG100 produces a stable flow of organic particles within the size range 500nm-3µm. The generator is a development of a La Mer type generator producing organic particles of choice on metal oxide nuclei.  The generator is calibrated for glycerol, but in principle any semi-volatile organic material is suitable for use within the generator. Required chemical and physical properties of suitable materials other then glycerol and techniques for calibration are described in the product manual.

FEATURES

Variable Concentration Output
A simple front panel control allows the minimum to maximum output particle concentration to be continuously adjusted by a factor of 1,000. This setting is made in-situ and allows the required output to be achieved in a matter of minutes.

Particle Generation Stability
Once the required particle concentration is set it will remain constant over time by virtue of the unit’s internal active flow control system.

Easy to Use and Maintain
MG100 is self-contained and only requires power to operate. No special operator training is needed. Maintenance is usually performed at annual intervals but can be longer based on the frequency and type of use.
