Particle Measurement
The Nano-ID™ NPS500 sets a new standard for high sensitivity and selectivity aerosol measurements. It provides the ability to measure particle size distributions over a range of 5 nm to 500 nm with 100 user-selectable channels. A proprietary corona charger system is used instead of traditional low-level radioactive sources. This completely eliminates all of the associated shipping and import/export restrictions, the need for special accommodations where the instrument will be used and stored, and personnel safety training and record keeping.
The Nano-ID Select is a wide-range fractionating sampler and is unique in that it spans the entire aerosol range from 2 nm up to 20 μm. Particles are collected simultaneously using both inertial deposition and diffusion, and separated into 12 size channels. The wide-range capabilities of this product are particularly useful when the area of interest simultaneously extends into the nano and micro regions while at the same time requiring a particle size distribution with sufficient resolution. This new wide-range nanoparticle sampler is a novel sampling device that has been proven to be a powerful tool in detecting very low levels of Engineered Nanoparticles (ENP) against background aerosol concentrations.
The Nano-ID Mass Reader MR250 is a companion product for the Nano-ID Select used to determine mass distributions quickly and without the need for laboratory gravimetrical analysis. The MR250 provides seven channels of resolution in the microparticle range of 250 nm to 20 μm, micron and job-micron range mass sensitivity of less than 10 ng.
